Edna Mae Ball Parsons age 81 of Duffield, VA and formerly of Big Stone Gap was born in Lee County, VA on Wednesday, August 30, 1933 and passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Kingston Assisted Living Center in Duffield, VA.She had been a nurses aid, attended the West End Independent Church and Mountain Empire Pace program. Edna loved life and living. Her loving sweet spirit has touched so many lives of those who knew her.She was preceded in death by her husband Millard Parsons, parents Raymond and Bertha Ball and two brothers Hubert John Ball and Billy Herman Ball.Edna is survived by her caregiver and friend Laura Gilliam of Duffield, VA.Special thanks to Mountain Empire PACE staff and participants and Kingston Center Assissted Living for their love and care.
