CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA -

Edith June Bush, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones. She loved her family, camping, playing cards, fishing, and the color purple.

She was born in Castlewood, Virginia on February 16, 1933. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stuart and Viledia Bellamy Bush; daughter, Terry Kelly Yvonne Bush Meade; brothers, Carthel Bush and Tanner Bush; and sister, Betty Yeary.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Zoe Ann Evans and husband, Bruce, of Castlewood, Randy Bush and wife Debbie, of Castlewood, Rocky Bush and wife Kimberly, of Castlewood, and special son-in-law, Eddie Meade, of Castlewood; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Harmon and husband Chris, of Gate City, Carrie Bush, of Castlewood, Jamey Bush and wife Jennifer, of Castlewood, Tabitha Paloian and husband Matt, of Bristol, Josh Bush and wife Michelle, of Dublin, Chesley Stanley and husband Travis, of Saint Paul, and Jeremiah Bush, of Castlewood. She also has several beloved great-grandchildren; special friends, Joyce Collins and Glenna Mae Bellamy.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 29, 2024 in the mausoleum at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia with Pastor Eddie Turner officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Trey Evans, Matt Paloian, Josh Bush, Jeremiah Bush, Malachi Palolian, and Jamey Bush. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Harmon, Brandon Bush, and Travis Stanley.

The family would like to express a special thank you to in home care nurses and therapist, Wise County Department of Social Services, Holston Valley Medical center W3 nurses, staff and case workers, and Tri-City Mortuary Service for their love and care of Edith.
