Obituary Eddie Ray Petrey age 60 of St. Charles, VA was born March 12, 1960 in St. Charles, VA and passed away December 8, 2020 at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Gracie Petrey, four brothers Cecil Petrey, Jr., Tommy Petrey, Jerry Petrey and Bobby Petrey. Eddie is survived by his wife of 38 years, Karen Petrey, one daughter Jessica Snowden and husband, John of St. Charles, VA, two grandchildren Madilyn and Emily Snowden, brothers Ricky Petrey and wife, Angela of Pennington Gap, VA, Ronnie Petrey and wife, Rachel of Jonesville, VA, Rondal Petrey and wife, Angie of St. Charles, VA and one sister Sue Hicks and husband, Max of Woodway, VA. He is also survived by his special friends Trystan Wyrick of the Pucketts Creek Community, Mike and Tracy Knuckles of Pennington Gap, VA, several nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be at 12:00 noon with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Pennington Memorial Cemetery in Pennington Gap, VA. Due to covid-19 state regulations, those attending the visitation and funeral are asked to wear masks/facial covering. Social distancing guidelines will also be in place. The guidelines also request that more than 25 people at a time are allowed in the building at the same time.
