Dovie Robbins Adkins, 83, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at her home in Dryden, Virginia.

Dovie was born on March 7, 1942 to the late Fred Bishop and Tiny Alice Bledsoe in Keokee, Virginia.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Charles Eugene Robbins and Kenneth Wayne Robbins; two former husbands, Millard Laine Robbins and Harold Adkins; sister, Elizabeth Jewell Ely; brother, Junior Bishop; step sister, Diane Roberts; great granddaughter, Willow Riley Branch; great grandson, Andrew Nolan Muncy.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Nancy Nelson (Taz) and Donna Hoke; brother, Cletis Bishop (Linda); grandchildren, William Paul Joyner (Kristen), Michael Lane Muncy, Tiffany Eden Branch (Michael), and Brandon Charles Robbins (Roselyn); five great grandsons, four great granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Powell Valley Cemetery with Clyde Hester officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM.
