Douglas Jack Woodard, 67, of Saint Charles went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Lee Health and Rehab.

Doug was born on March 11, 1956 to Hobert Woodard and Doris Sexton Woodard in Lee County, Virginia. Doug served his country by serving in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his father, Hobert Woodard; sisters, Kathy Woodard and Katie Lawson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sarah Holmes of Keokee; mother, Doris Sexton Woodard of Saint Charles; grandson, Matthew Holmes; brothers, Jeff Woodard of Jonesville, and Rocky Woodard of Kingsport; sisters, Vicki Woodard of Jonesville, Freda McKinney of North Carolina, Diane Thacker of North Carolina; brother in-law, Pete Lawson; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.
