Dorothy Inez Satterfield, 77, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Lee Health and Rehab.

Dorothy was born on March 27, 1947 to the late John and Bonnie Carter.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Donnie "Dane" Satterfield and a son, Dana Satterfield.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, E.J. Satterfield and wife Angie; two daughters, Gennett Garrett and husband Scott, and Missy Kelly and husband Jim. As well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The funeral for Dorothy will be Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 2PM in the chapel of the Pennington Gap Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr officiating. Burial will follow in the Millers Chapel Cemetery in Jonesville. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Sunday preceding the funeral from 1PM until 2PM at the funeral home.
