Dorothy Ann Music age 76 of St. Charles, VA was born Sunday, July 7, 1940 in St. Charles and passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at her home. She was a homemaker and loved being outdoors and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Virgie Music, husband Kenneth Pate, siblings Ralph, Norman and infant twins Norma Jean and Eugene. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Gloria Nimety of Jonesville, VA, two grandchildren Michael Anthony Nimety and Christopher Nimety, four great-grandchildren Brecken, Kianna, Katelyn and Kennedy, two brothers Ray Music and wife, Dovie of St. Charles, VA, James Music and wife, Ellen of St. Charles, VA, two sisters Faye Hall and husband, Willie of Jonesville, VA, Barbara Lewis and husband, Cecil of St. Charles, VA and several nieces and nephews. At the request of Dorothy Ann Music she will be cremated with no service. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Province Funeral Home.
