Donna Earthel (Marcum) Hopkins, age 74, of Jonesville, VA passed away early Saturday, April 11, 2026 while at the Lee Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pennington Gap, VA.

She was born March 16, 1952 a daughter of the late Hermon and Lucille (Wilson) Marcum and was the widow of the late Benny Hopkins, Sr. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her son: Benny Hopkins, Jr and wife Robin of Tazewell, TN. Two Grandsons: Ryan Fee of Ewing, VA and Tanner Bennington of Lee County, VA. 3 Great-Great grandchildren: Alayah, Ziggy and Carly. Three brothers: Charlie Marcum and wife Cathy of Jonesville, VA, Drewey Marcum and wife Teresa of Rose Hill, VA and Wayne Marcum and wife Debbie of Flatwoods, VA. Three Sisters: Dorothy Mullins and husband Buster of Chilhowie, VA, Cathy Thomas and husband Eddie of Jonesville, VA and Sally Collins and husband Perry of Jonesville. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members along with a host of friends also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the Wilson Cemetery, Rose Hill, VA with Pastor Jim Myers officiating. It is requested that those wishing to attend those services meet at the cemetery by 10:50 am. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
