Obituary Don Ferguson, age 63, of Pennington Gap VA was born March 2, 1957 in Jonesville, VA and passed away on November 18th at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. Don was of the Baptist faith. He had drove for the Lee County Public Schools for 25 plus years upon retirement. He also worked on Shelburnes farm for 28 years. Don was preceded in death by his parents Thurman and Margaret Ferguson. Mother-in-law Margaret Vermillion. Six sisters, Lorine Gunn, Lola Pochodzay, Linda collins, April Coomer, Barbara Cosby, and Betty Marcum. Two brothers, Arthur Ferguson, and Eddie Ferguson. Don is survived by his wife of 40 years Diane Ferguson, Father-in-law Glen Vermillion. Two sisters, Eula Duncan (LeeRoy) of Goochland VA , and Virginia Edens (Roger) of Stickleyville VA. One sister in law Donna Mason of Big Stone Gap, VA. Don is also survived by his brother Bill Ferguson (Ella Mae) of Big Stone Gap, VA. Three brother-in-laws Gary Vermillion (Becky) of Rose Hill VA, Mark Vermillion of Big Stone Gap VA, and James Vernon Pochodzay of Ocoonita VA. Two daughters Jennifer Hartsock (Andrew) of Jonesville VA, and Hailey Edgar (TJ) of Rose Hill VA. One son Michael Hartsock of Pennington Gap VA. Six grandchildren Hayden, Mariela, and Mia Hartsock. Aeranna, Elena, and Braxton Edgar. Special Niece Jessica Coomer (Michael) and kids Ethan, Brooklynn, and Jedidiah Newberry of Jonesville VA and a host of nieces and nephews and a very special dear friend, Alfred Eichler, and a host of friends. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Monday, November 23, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Dr. Roger Edens officiating.
