Denise Jean Langley age 61 of Jonesville, VA was born Monday, May 28, 1956 in Chicago, IL and passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. Denise had worked for Wellmont Health System as an RN for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents Ransel and Elinor Denson and niece Amy Middleton. Denise is survived by her husband Charles Langley, Jr. of the home, one son Edward Langley and wife, Wendy of the Smyths Chapel Community, one daughter Earlene Lewis and husband, Jason of Putney, KY, two grandchildren Kaitlyn Langley and Sean Lewis and two brothers Pete Denson and wife, Stella of Rose Hill, VA, Tony Denson of Rose Hill, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Jonesville, VA with Jim Myers officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Tuesday until the time of the service.
