Della A. Jones, age 69 of Pennington Gap, VA passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN after an extended illness. She was born Thursday, July 11, 1946 and was a native of Lee County, VA. She enjoyed volunteering her time at Mid Mountain Feed and Seed where she loved working in the store and making friends with the customers. Della was the daughter of the late Jay and Daisy Dean. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Bryan Morris, brother Jack Dean and sister Matilda Dean. She is survived by her brother Wilke Dean (Joyce), sister Rose Hurlock, granddaughter Morgan Perkins (Dallas), grandson Devin Morris, great-granddaughter Jayden Perkins, great-grandson Chason Perkins and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her "other younguns" Jason, Sherrie and Katelyn Hurlock. Per Dellas request, there will not be a memorial service. Service Information A service summary is not available
