Obituary Jonesville, VA March 12, 1971 March 8, 2019 David had a signature smile that would light up a room, an infectious laugh and a kind and giving heart full of love. He loved big and endlessly. David could saunter into a room, tell one of his many stories and have everyone laughing. To say he would give the shirt off his back was just a starting point. For those fortunate enough to understand and embrace this funny, complicated, kind person, who was so full of love, our lives are more beautiful because he existed. David left us precious treasures of shared memories and conversations, hilarious stories, smiles that adorned our faces when he was present and love..so much love. David Landon McPherson we are thankful for having your comet explode into our world and shower us with millions of tiny treasures that were beautifully you! Our grateful hearts will forever honor your legacy of love, joy, humor, kindness and compassion. David was a 1989 graduate of Jonesville High School and was employed by Shamrock Environmental Corporation in Greensboro, NC. David is survived by his parents, Cheryl Woliver McPherson, Veach R. McPherson (Brenda); sister, Jodi McPherson Kemple; brother, Tracy McPherson (Kim). Five very special nieces whom he adored: Megan Kemple; Jalan Cridlin (Fuller); Garrett Dailey (Brandon); Kenzi McPherson and Jamie Kemple; great- nephew Jameson Cain Dailey; his faithful and loyal German Shepherd Brutus; a loving family of aunts, uncles and cousins; and many dear friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. with the service to follow on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Province Funeral Home,42098 E. Morgan Ave., Pennington Gap, VA 24277. The services will be conducted by Davids brother Tracy McPherson.
