David Lynn Hounshell age 41 of the Flatwoods Community in Jonesville, VA was born in Tazewell, TN on Tuesday, August 13, 1974 and passed away Monday, September 28, 2015. He had attended the First Baptist Church in Jonesville, VA and was a former Cub Master for Cub Scout Pack # 394 in Jonesville, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents Douglas and Geneva Hounshell, a sister Carolyn Sue Hounshell and brother-in-law Jack Beck. David is survived by his wife Stephanie Hounshell of the Flatwoods Community, his son Ethen Hounshell and his daughter Haileigh Hounshell both of the Flatwoods Community, two brothers Robert Hounshell, Billy Hounshell and wife Dorothy all of Rose Hill, VA, three sisters Patsy Mosley and husband Roger and Alice Beck all of Piney Flats, TN, Patricia Westberry and husband Tony of Weaverville, N.C. and his nieces and nephews Billy Justin Hounshell and wife Grace, Bobby Hounshell and wife Lashae and Becky Hounshell all of Rose Hill, VA, Logan Westberry of Weaverville, N.C and Joshua Mosley of Piney Flats, TN. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA with Mike Humpfleet officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Friday until the time of the service. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Jones Cemetery in Ewing, VA.
