Obituary David Harris age 73 of Jonesville, VA was born December 9, 1948 in Cranks, KY and passed away February 15, 2022 at Norton Community Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents Burger Harris and Geneva Shoemaker, two brothers Roger and Ernie Wilson Harris and one sister Mary Ann Scott. David is survived by three sons Kenneth Harris and wife, Amber of Appalachia, VA, Steven Harris and wife, Tammy of Ocoonita, VA, David Harris, Jr. and wife, Selisa of Pennington Gap, VA, one daughter Maria Michelle Moore and husband, Charles of Rose Hill, VA, five grandchildren Ashley Moore, Austin Harris, Matthew Moore, Emma Harris and Logan Harris. He is also survived by two brothers Paul Shoemaker of Duffield, VA, Rick Shoemaker of Dryden, VA and one sister Margaret Rogers and husband, Arvil of Jonesville, VA. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. Burial will follow at Pennington Memorial Cemetery in Pennington Gap, VA.
