Obituary David Edward Barber age 51 of Jonesville, VA was born in Tazewell, TN on Thursday, June 27, 1968 and went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. He was a resident of Jonesville, VA all of his life. He was also a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Jonesville. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Beulah Barber, two sisters, Dora Barber and Donna Carter, and one brother, Terry Barber. David is survived by his wife Cynthia Barber of the home, two sons, Jonathan Burke and wife, Ashley and Harley Barber, one daughter, Deirdre Yeary and husband, Andrew 'Burito' all of Jonesville, VA, three brothers, Dennis Barber, Lynn Barber and wife, Deb, Jeff Barber and wife, Cathy all of Jonesville, VA, one sister, Arnetia Kolb and husband, Ken of Jonesville, VA, five grandchildren, Hayden, Parker, and Paisley Burke, Aurora and Zepplyne Yeary and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA. Funeral service will be at 6:00 PM with Rev. Dwayne Jones officiating. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Monday at Fee Cemetery on Scott Hollow Rd. in Rose Hill, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM Monday to go to the cemetery.
