Danny Ray Ridings, 74, of Pennington Gap, VA passed away at Lee County Community Hospital on August 10, 2025.

He was born in Lee County, VA on October 2, 1950 to Maude Gibson Ridings (1922-2004) and Odie Ridings (1926-1998).

He graduated from St. Charles High School May 31, 1970 as class Valedictorian. Later married Judith Lynn Grable Ridings (1954-2014) on May 27, 1977 in Harlan, Kentucky. Danny worked for Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. in Norton, VA for many years and later worked for Sykes in Wise, VA.

He attended Clinch Valley College in Wise, VA where he graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting.

Danny will be missed by many family members and friends.

Surviving children will welcome family and friends to the home at a later date to be determined.
