Obituary Daniel Gene Vanover, 66, of Pennington Gap, Va went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Daniel was born on May 10, 1956 to the late Ennis and Mary Bee Vanover in Pennington Gap, VA. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Oma Jean Freeman Vanover; sisters, Margaret A. Dennison. June Freeman, and Mary A Garrett. Daniel is survived by his sons, Damian Vanover and Daniel Vanover; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Buddy Vanover and Bill Vanover; sister, Nell Parsons; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
