Dakota Webb, 22, of Pennington Gap went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Lee County Community Hospital.

Dakota was born on September 9, 2002 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. Dakota worked at Dairy Queen in Big Stone Gap where he just got promoted to manager and he met and impacted many people in his time there. His pride and joy was his family, especially his son. Dakota was a bright light to all those around him.

Dakota is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Larry and Angie Webb; maternal grandmother, Gracie Cooper; along with several aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Lukas Webb; fiancé, Adessa Webb; stepdaughters, Emma Maness and Maci Cheek; father, Jason (Christina) Webb; mother, Lisa Cooper; brothers, Jase Webb, Easton Cooper, Jason Eugene Webb Jr, and Skyler Webb; sisters, Alyela Freeman, Natalie Barnett, Kennedy Morgan, Ruby Bowen, Autumn Bowen, and Jessie Bowen; mamaws, Renee Bolen and Tammy Wrenn; aunts, Jennifer (Danny) Horner, Jennifer Sherrod, Trisha Gibson, and Whitney Bustle; uncles, Larry Webb and Chris Webb (Melissa); along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Roy Webb officiating.

A private burial will be held at Stapleton Cemetery.
