Daisy Harless age 77 of Stickleyville, VA was born in Wise County, VA on Monday, May 30, 1938 to the late Alonzo and Ethel Bentley. She passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She had worked at Green Hill Nursing Home and Norris Industry and loved to play Bingo. In addition to her parents Daisy was preceded in death by her son Randy Lee Harless in 2013, two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Henry Lee Harless of the home, four daughters Betty (David) Lancaster, Reenie (Jim) Barnette, Linda (Mike) Musick and Brenda Crabtree and a daughter-in-law Regina Harless. She is also survived by six granddaughters, three grandsons, a step-grandson, fifteen great-grandchildren and her brother Buford Bentley. Special friends Joyce Pingilley and Doug Ward, neighbors Frank Perkins and Ron Kenst and the Stickleyville Community. A special thanks to her nurse Misty Burke, RN. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon Wednesday until the time of the service. Pall Bearers will be family members.
