Curtis P. Bledsoe, 67, of Keokee, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Curtis was born on April 21, 1957 in Lee County, Virginia to the late Thomas Edward Bledsoe and Ethel Payne Bledsoe. Curtis worked as a carpenter and later as a coal miner and he was proud of his craft.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Bledsoe; cousin, Ronnie Smithson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Amy Bledsoe; daughter, Amanda Wood; grandchildren, Hunter, Anamarie, Aiden, Silas, and Emmitt.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 17, 2024 where he will be laid to rest beside his wife at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway with Pastor Josh Leonard officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM.
