Corretta Lyvonne Watterson Cooley , 54, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 in her home.

Corretta was born on November 4th, 1969 to Harold Leon Watterson and Ethel Watterson (Watterson) in Kingsport. Corretta spent most of her life in Church Hill. She went to college at ETSU and got her associates degree in applied science and majored in medical assisting. She then went on to serve 4 years in the army and was stationed in Colorado and Honduras. She then worked in retail for quite some time. She loved the outdoors such as parks and especially loved her children and grandchildren very much. Always making sure they were happy and smiling. Her favorite color was pink.

Corretta was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Ethel Watterson and grandparents John and Mary Magdelene Watterson. She is survived by her husband Kevin of Church Hill, TN, her children Antonio Watterson of Church Hill, TN, Alan Patterson (Kayla) of Hampton, Iowa, Joseph Patterson of Church Hill, TN, Kaitlyn and Lea Cooley of Church Hill, TN, her sisters Catina Watterson Miller (Bobby) of Church Hill, TN, and Candace Goodman (Raus) of Massillon, Ohio, and her two Grandchildren Ariana and Alexander Patterson of Hampton, Iowa.

A memorial service will be held at the Church Hill park on Sunday, March 24th at 12pm. Flowers are welcome.
