Cloyd Earl Brittain age 82 of the Woodway Community in Pennington Gap, VA was born Monday, January 29, 1934 in Somerset, KY and passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at his home. He had been a Veteran of the US Army, retired as a truck driver and was a member of the Woodway Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Anna Mae Brittain, brother Ray Brittain and one sister Laverne Brittain. Cloyd is survived by his wife Emily Brittain of the home, one son Mark Brittain and wife, Karen of Hiddenite, NC, two brothers Noel Brittain and wife, Mary Lee of Georgia, Neal Brittain and wife, Teresa of Louisville, KY and two sisters Doris Dykes of Lexington, KY and Norma Johnson and husband, Jim of Somerset, KY, sister-in-law Ruth Brittain of Somerset, KY.
