Clona Corriana Dollar, 90, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at her home in Dryden, Virginia.

Clona was born on December 23, 1934 in Abingdon, Virginia to the late Henry and Kathleen Mickles.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Birdie Barlow, Jenny Smith, and AnnaLee Peggs; brothers, Tom, Roy, and Andy Michaels.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Carolyn Pennington and husband Curtis, Teresa Sanders and husband Gary; son, Ronald Dollar; sisters, Betty Hamilton, Eula Vanover and husband Sammy; grandchildren, Kathleen, Ron, Ronald, Tim, Jessie, Tyler, Elizabeth, Aiden, Frankie, Kimberly and husband Roger, Tracy and husband Robert, special thanks to grandson Wesley for his care; along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and another special thanks to nephew Roger Dye.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Robinette officiating. A committal service will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at Powell Valley cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at Pennington Gap Funeral Home by 10:15 AM on Friday to travel in procession to the cemetery.
