Claude E. Napier age 79 of the Flatwoods Community in Woodway, VA was born on August 31, 1935 in Lee County, VA and passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents Felin and Ethel Napier and two grandchildren. Claude is survived by his children Shirley Marie Wade (Bubba)of South Carolina, Yvonne C. Owens (Junior) of South Carolina, Wanda L. Napier (Keith) of South Carolina, Dana L. Clark (Joseph) of Virginia, Claude II Napier (Jamie) of Big Stone Gap, VA and Molly M. Napier of Virginia. Claude is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one sister Gladys Austin of Chesapeake, VA. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, May 29, 2015 at Pennington Memorial Cemetery on Hwy. 421 in Pennington Gap, VA.
