Obituary Clara Jean Napier, age 88 formerly of the Stone Creek Community in Pennington Gap, VA was born in Black Mountain, KY on Wednesday, February 12, 1930 and passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Lee Nursing and Rehab in Pennington Gap. Clara was a retired sewing factory worker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Powell Valley Chapter #13. Clara was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Napier, her parents James and Cora Hatfield, one brother Andrew Hatfield and one sister Tennessee Muse. She is survived by one son Randy Napier and wife, Dee of Woodway, VA, one daughter, Sandy Kirk and husband, Darrell of Jonesville, VA, one sister Wilma Haynes of Mooresville, IN, three grandchildren Charles 'Bodie' Napier, Christie Napier, Diana Owens and fourteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA. The funeral service will be at 8:00 PM Monday with Paul Davis Jr. officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 27,2018 at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
