Christopher "Chris" Dale Moore, 49, of Jonesville passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at his home.

Chris accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mulberry Gap Baptist Church. He was a devoted and loving son, brother, and father. He loved to hunt, especially with his children. He was also an avid fisherman. He was a mechanic all his life always working on cars or farm equipment.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Chris is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Moore.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Austin Moore and Alyssa Moore; mother, Betty Moore; brothers, Jesse (Tiffany) Moore and Billy (Tamara) Moore; nieces and nephews, Brandon (Katie) Moore, Dee Moore, Crystal Moore, Kayleigh Hoskins, Kasey (Emily) Hoskins, Shelby (Logan) Grace, and Jaden Taylor; along with many cousins, friends, great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Powell Valley Funeral Home ( 29521 Wilderness Rd., Jonesville, Virginia 24263). A funeral service will follow with Pastor Dennis Jones and Jerry Ramsey officiating.

A committal service will follow at Collins Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
