Obituary
Chester Ross Langley Sr., age 60, of Jonesville, VA passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Maryland May 27, 1960 to the late Mary and Alva Langley Sr.
He was a lifelong truckdriver. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed woodworking and the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Leroy Langley, Sr., sister Annalee Hall, and niece Christine Langley.
He was survived by his wife Cathy Langley of the home. Two daughters Haulda Parks and husband Brian, Jennifer Ziehler and fianc Ben Counts, one son Chester Langley Jr. and wife, Rita, all of Jonesville, VA. Eleven grandchildren Steven, Jalina, Sierra, Chloey, Ethan, Skyler Parks, Ethan and Lynzie Ziehler, Peyton Hensley, Devon and Emily Langley. Three great-grandchildren Jace and Amelia Parks, Aubunie Pettey, he was awaiting the birth of his fourth.
Two brothers Alva Langley Jr. and wife Susan of Dryden, VA, Johnny Langley and wife Liz of Ewing, VA, one sister Mary Welch and husband Fayne of Jonesville, VA and many beloved nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The family will have a celebration of life at Jonesville Rescue Squad Building, Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 3 p.m.
