Charlotte Ann Scott born Wednesday, July 9, 1952 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. She professed faith in Jesus Christ at an early age. Charlotte enjoyed living life to the fullest. She will always be loved and greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father Walter Yeary. She is survived by her husband of 48 years David Scott, two sons Dewayne Scott and girlfriend, Cathy Middleton, Jeff Scott and wife, Nancy, her mother Christola Yeary, two brothers Jerry (Donna) Yeary and Keith (Debbie) Yeary, special sister and best friend Sandra (Eddie) Pauley. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Jonesville, VA with Larry Beeler and Danny Sexton officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Saturday until the time of the service. A graveside service will be at 1:00 PM Sunday at the Lee Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 for the service. Pall Bearers will be family and singers are Little Barren Church.
