Obituary Charlie Marlin Rivers age 71 of Dryden, VA was born December 17, 1950 in Lee County, VA and passed away February 2, 2022 at his home in Dryden, VA. He had been a custodian at Dryden Primary School for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents Millard and Grace Rivers, first wife Georgetta Rivers and his siblings. Charlie is survived by his wife Ann Elizabeth Rivers of the home, two brothers Wayne and Boone and two sisters Dobie and Mousie. A graveside service will held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 AM for the service Lieu of flowers the family asks, any donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
