Charles Ronnie Hilton, 82, of Pennington Gap went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at his residence.

Charles was born on October 14, 1943 in St. Charles to the late Horace Hilton and Oma Wise Taylor Hilton. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After his time in the service he worked as a stationary equipment operator for many years before his retirement. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather and great grandfather, and a caring brother.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Leslie Hilton; sisters, Virginia "Jenny" Coleman, and Nancy Dingus; and brother, Terry "Sonny" Hilton.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Hilton; sons, Charles (Peggy) Hilton II, and Chris "Lori" Hilton; daughter, Heidi (Joe) Seeders; grandchildren, Lisa (Danny Butler) Taylor, Jonah (Charity) Hilton, Jeremy (Callie) Seeders, and Autumn Seeders; great grandchild, Adonis Butler; brother, Gary Hilton; sister, Faye Bruce; along with several nieces and nephews.

Per Charles wishes he will be cremated with no formal services.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Caris Hospice for their love and care they showed Charles and his family.
