Charles David Woodard age 74 of Mitchell, IN was born in Keokee, VA on Saturday, May 17, 1941 and passed away at his home on Sunday, October 18, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Pearl and Hannah Woodard, three brothers Silas, Paul and Roy Woodard and an infant sister Georgia Woodard. Charles is survived by a son Charles David Woodard, Jr. and wife, Patricia of Hanceville, AL, four daughters Elizabeth Gray of Walnut, MS, Katherine Smith and husband, Travis of Corinth, MS, Mary Regina Hernandez of Ripley, TN and Dusty Woodard of St. Charles, VA, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and five sisters Opal Carter and husband, James of Dryden, VA, Maxie Glover and husband, Jim of Bessemer, AL, Lola Mae Groves of Milan, TN, Stella Bates of Pound, VA and Linda White and husband, Donald of Milan, TN. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodard Cemetery in Keokee, VA.
