Obituary Cecil Ezra Cochran born Monday, December 18, 1939 in Wise, VA and passed away peacefully on Friday, September 14, 2018. He grew up in Bonnie Blue, VA and attended schools in St. Charles, VA. On June 1, 1963 he married his life partner Sharon Spiller. He enjoyed many sporting events. He never missed attending or watching the Kentucky Derby. The start of football season was something he looked forward to. He was a dedicated Chicago Bears fan. He also enjoyed fishing and bowling. His biggest enjoyment was being a papaw. Each grandchild and great grandchild has a very special place in his heart. Always having a special treat waiting for them when they visited. He is survived by his wife Sharon, 2 children, Michael (Lisa) Cochran of Pennington Gap, VA, Michelle (Robert) Labicki of Lexington, KY, 5 grandchildren, Colton Cochran of Pennington Gap, VA, Allyson (Melvin) Martin of Pennington Gap, VA, Curtis Labicki an Bryan Labicki of Lexington, KY and Cheyenne Cochran of Texas. 4 great-grandchildren, Caden, Xzavier, Carli and Arabella , 2 sisters, Mary Cox and Judy Pittman both of Pennington Gap, VA and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Grace Cochran, 2 sisters Doreatha Gaugh and Wilma Collins, 2 brothers, Frank Cochran and Tommy Cochran. The family would like to thank the staff at Norton Hospital for taking wonderful care of Cecil during this time. Per Cecils wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
