Catherine Sue Martin, 78, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 3, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Sue was born on June 7, 1947 to the late John and Bernice Scott in Jonesville, Virginia. She was an avid Tennessee fan. Sue spent her time working as the Cafeteria Manager at Morristown East High School until her retirement. She was a member of Lone Branch Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Lee Roy Johnson; Daughter, Michelle Standifer; son, Todd Johnson; Grandson, Bradley Standifer; and Husband, Boyd Martin.

Sue is survived by her Sisters; Linda (Randy) Depew, Betty Walker, Leisha (Bryan) Carpenter; Brother, John (Lynne) Scott; Daughter in law, Misty Johnson; also by nephews, aunts, several cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lone Branch Baptist Church.

The family receive friends on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Powell Valley Funeral Home.

A committal service will follow at Hillside cemetery at 2:30 pm with Pastor Marvin Matlock officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
