Catherine S. (Hicks) Barber, age 63, of Jonesville, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 2, 2025 while at the Lee County Community Hospital.

Catherine was a devoted homemaker and believed the Baptist faith.

She was born September 17, 1962 in Noblesville, IN a daughter of the late Darrell and Belva Sue (Robbins) Hicks. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters; Brenda Hicks, Belinda Allen and Lisa Gail Gilliam. Brother; Billy Hicks.

Those left to mourn her passing: her loving husband of 42 years; Jeff Barber. 3 sons; Jonothan, Jason and Michael. 2 grandsons; Thomas and Hudson. 1 sister; Bobbie Hicks all of Jonesville, VA. Several nieces, nephews and cousins along with a host of friends also survive.

In keeping with Cathy's wishes, her body will be cremated and no formal services will be held. It is the families request that you honor her memory by remembering her at her best.
