Carroll W. Phillips, age 64, of Lee County, VA passed away Sunday afternoon, July 30, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer while at the home of his daughter. He was born January 17, 1959 a son of the late Lee Emory and Margaret Fay Goins Phillips. He spent many years in construction and was widely known as a very talented concrete finisher.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers: Larry, Jim and Ted.

He is survived by his daughter: Stacee Phillips of Fairborn, Ohio

2 grandsons: Jorden and Camren Rivers

3 Brothers: Eugene Phillips (Tammy)

Gary Phillips

Doyle Phillips

2 Sisters: Linda Woodgeard (Joe)

Tina Hoskins all of Ohio

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many other family and friends also survive.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 4, 2023 from 11 am until 1pm at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Michael Phillips officiating. The committal service will follow in the Ward Cemetery in the Stickleyville Community. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
