Carla Deann Crusenberry Grimes, 55, of St. Charles went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 5, 2025 at her residence after a long and courageous health battle.

Carla was born on July 16, 1969 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Carla was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend.

Carla is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Grimes; father, Carl Crusenberry; mother, Dorothy Crusenberry; biological mother, Glenda Wilson Cooper; and sister, Sheila Fatony.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Tammy Bryant and husband Lynn; brothers, Matthew Dale Crusenberry, Richard Cooper, and Chad Melerowicz; special nephew, Matthew Taylor; special friend, David Fatony; along with several nieces and nephews.

Per Carla's wishes she will be cremated with no formal services will be held. A private celebration of life bash will be held at a later date.
