Buster Robbins age 78 of Keokee, VA was born in Keokee on Tuesday, May 25, 1937 and passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. He had lived in Michigan for many years and had worked as a machine operator for General Motors. Buster was a Veteran of the U.S. Army a member of the UAW and Masonic lodge Solomon Key # 580 F & AM in Allen Park Michigan 48101, he also attended Admant Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Ann Seay Robbins, a son Franklin Creed Robbins and his parents Curtis and Ressie Mae Robbins.Buster is survived by one son Verlin Glen Robbins Jr. and wife, Gin of Keokee, VA, one daughter Elizabeth Ann Robbins Willis and husband, Michael of Dryden, VA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Verlin III, Vanessa, Daja, Christian, Kammie and Alaina, great-grandchildren Jayla, Donald and Kayden, one brother Jerry W. Robbins and wife, Wanda of Big Stone Gap, VA, one sister Sonja Vann of Taylor, MI and several nieces and nephews. A Masonic service will be held at 7:00 PM with Miles Masonic Lodge #165 conducting the service, a funeral service will follow on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Rev. Jim Clem officiating.Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Saturday until the time of the service.The graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Anderson Cemetery in Keokee, VA.Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:00 PM Sunday to go to the cemetery.Military Honors will be provided by local VFW Posts and the Army National Guard Honors Team.
