Obituary Bruce Jones age 85 of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Dryden, VA on September 10, 1935 and passed away May 28, 2021 at his home. He was a retired Master Chief of the US Navy and an Elder at the First Christian Church in Pennington Gap, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents Clay and Lillie Jones. Bruce is survived by his wife of 40 years Genevieve (Jenny) Jones of the home, one son David Jones and wife, Karen of Carleton, MI, three daughters Theresa Marcus and husband, Travis of Piney Flats, TN, Gayle McNutt and husband, Dennis of Blountville, TN, Debbie Jessen and husband, Steve of Lebanon, TN, nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and his sister and brother-in-law Lois and Harold May. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday with Pastor Bob Richards officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.
