Brenda Joyce Yeary, age 81, of Dr Thomas Walker Road, Ewing, VA, passed away on Monday, June 3rd, 2024. She was born on Sunday, April 18th, 1943 in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

Brenda is survived by her brother Harry Clyde Yeary JR of Dwale KY, sisters Wanda Myers of Knoxville, TN and Betty Smith and husband Bob of Harrogate TN, nieces Maggie Meyers, Trina Yeary, and Heidi Clark, nephews Justin Yeary and William Y Smith, as well as 6 great nieces and 4 great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Harry Clyde Yeary SR, mother Bula May Yeary, brother in law Douglas Gordon Myers, and sister in law Jouette Cavin Yeary.

Brenda was a 1961 graduate of Thomas Walker High School and worked as a computer programmer for 29 years at AT&T Telephone Company in Atlanta, GA. She was also the pianist for Brethren Church in Ewing VA and enjoyed tending to her birds and flowers. Brenda loved chatting with her friends and family on the telephone and feeding her special friends.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 10th, 2024 at 1PM in the Lee Family Cemetery, 100 DeRoyal Industries Drive, Rose Hill, VA with the Rev. Frank Turner, JR officiating. Music will be provided by Candy Lowe. Everyone is requested to meet at the cemetery at 12:50 PM for the services.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
