Brenda Sue Holman, 77, went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2025, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Brenda was born on February 20, 1948, to the late Joe Evans and Darlys Jessee in Pennington Gap, Virginia. She worked for Piggly Wiggly and Food City for over 30 years. Brenda was a member of St. Charles Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Charles Holman; a daughter, Tracy Holman; a brother, Freddie Evans; two sisters, Rita Jo Willis and Patricia Scott Audia; grand children, Dustin Holman (Hollie), Dalton Woodard, Maverick, Maddox, Stephianie Greear, Halie Lynn, Hanady Bardge, Kennedy Bardge, Weston and Blakely. As well as a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A service will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Paul Davis Jr., officiating.

A committal service will be held the following day, December 1, 2025 at 11:00 am at Cecil-Fry cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 am.
