Obituary Brenda Machelle Hartsock age 49 of Jonesville, VA was born March 19, 1973 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away November 18, 2022 in Harlan, KY. She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother Jack and Jerry Stevens, her late husband Mark Woodard, granddaughter Jaelyn Woodard, grandmother Juanita Lane, grandfather Steve Middleton and a nephew Robert Stevens Jr. Brenda is survived by her husband Matthew Hartsock of the home, two sons Justin Woodard and Mason Stevens both of Jonesville, VA, one daughter Natasha Woodard of Gate City, VA, her mother and step-father Brenda and Roger Whited of Pennington Gap, VA, four grandchildren Nick Woodard, Addilynn Bishop, Isaiah Bishop and Olivia Bishop. She is also survived by five brothers Janes Stevens, Robert Stevens and wife, Michelle, Leslie Stevens and wife, Carla, Neal Stevens, Frank Stevens, one sister Andrea Whited Freeman and husband, Ricky of Pennington Gap, VA and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday with Chad Miles officiating. Burial will follow at Stevens Cemetery in Smith, KY.
