Brenda Britt, 76, of Pennington Gap went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 28, 2024 at her residence.

Brenda was born on July 29, 1948 in St Charles to the late Bill Collins and Myrtle Johnson Collins. She worked for several years as the manager at Hardees. Brenda was a loving mother, caring Mamaw BB, adored sister, and friend to many.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Britt; sisters, Billie Jean Lanningham, JoAnn Collins, and Dorothy Crusenberry.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Patricia Pennington and husband Mark, and Michelle Edgar; grandchildren, Monica Britt, Morgan Britt, Randall Edgar, Brandy Hall, Jacob Martin, and Emily Martin; great grandchildren, Destin Hall, Ashton Edgar, and Carter Collins; sister, Sonya Martin; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral Service will follow with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.

A committal service will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
