Bobby Galey age 55 of Jonesville, VA was born Wednesday, February 24, 1960 in St. Charles, VA and passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. He had formerly worked as a truck driver and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by a son Christopher Michael Clark Galey, three grandchildren Justin and Dustin Wilder and baby girl Parsons, his father Celis Bobby Galey, step-father Wayne (Popeye) Stanley and his grandparents Bradley and Clora Phillips and Jim and Golden Stanley. Bobby is survived by his mother Josephine Stanley of Jonesville, VA, a son Bobby Wayne Galey of Jonesville, VA, two daughters Christy Parsons and husband, Claude of Jonesville, VA and Ashley Galey of Dryden, VA, five grandchildren Cory, Nikki and Joey Wilder, Darian and Zach Parsons and a great-grandson Grayson Clark. He is also survived by two brothers Jim Stanley and Carter Stanley both of Jonesville, VA, three sisters Barbara Combs of Dryden, VA, Linda Wright of Alabama, Jenny Burgan of Jonesville, VA and a special nephew Josh Combs of Jonesville, VA. A memorial service will be held at 8:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2016 at the Dryden Baptist Church with Tim Robinson officiating.
