Bobby (Pops) Collingsworth, age 71 of Pennington Gap, VA was born in Blackwater, VA on Tuesday, February 1, 1944 and passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. Bobby was a retired self-employed Constuction worker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Annice Collingsworth; one brother, Charlie Collingsworth and one sister, June Page. He is survived by his companion of 30 years, Brenda Ridings; one son, Gary Collingsworth and wife Angela of Jonesville, VA; Stacey Belcher, whom he thought of as a daughter, and husband Tim of Pennington Gap, VA; three granddaughters, Ashley and husband Brandon Broadhuhn of Pennington Gap, VA, Verity and Autumn Collingsworth of Jonesville, VA; one brother, Norman Collingsworth of Tennessee and four nephews, Teddy, Tony and Terry Collingsworth and Mike Minor; also several great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. Monday, May 25, 2015 in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap with Paul Davis Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until time of services Monday. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday to go to the cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
