Billy Gordon Sarver, 77, of Pennington Gap went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

Billy was born on February 19, 1946 in Pennington Gap, Virginia to the late Rex Sarver and Willie Oaks Sarver. He was a coal miner by trade and worked for West Moreland Coal Company until his retirement. Billy was a Christian and a faithful member of First Christian Church of Pennington Gap.

Billy is survived by his sons, Jamie Sarver and Dakota Sarver; brothers, Charles "Chuck" Sarver and W. Sevline Sarver; sister, Betty Ann Collins; friends, Tammy Jones and Thomas Million; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Billy's wish was to be cremated with no formal services and for his ashes to be spread at one of his favorite places, Norris Lake.

Billy Gordon Sarver and his family are in the care of Pennington Gap Funeral Home.
