Billy Lee Napier age 79 of Jonesville, VA was born in Lee County on Sunday, February 25, 1936 and passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at his home. He had been a construction worker and a member of the Victory Freewill Baptist Church of Jonesville. He was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Ellen Napier and two infant children, his parents George and Alma Napier and one sister Mildred Sutphin. Billy is survived by his wife Mary Napier of the home, one son David Napier and family of Jasper, AL, one daughter Rebecca Smith and family of Bristol, VA, step-daughter Cathy Mickley and family of PA, granddaughters Megan Napier and family of Bristol, TN and Tiffany Napier of Jonesville, VA, grandsons Jacob Napier and family of Jonesville, VA and Grandson/adopted son Gary Napier and family of Jonesville, VA. He is also survived by his brothers Victor and Ed Napier both of Pennington Gap, VA and sisters Anna Mae Rogers of Pennington Gap, VA and Louise McNeil of Morristown, TN. The funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA with Paul Davis, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until the time of the service on Wednesday. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Napier Family Cemetery in Pennington Gap, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM Thursday to go to the cemetery.
