Bill Unthank, age 77, of Jonesville, VA, passed away on Saturday, February 24th, 2024. He was born on Monday, August 19th, 1946 in his hometown of Jonesville, Virginia. He grew up in northern Virginia and moved back to Lee County after he married.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, John M. Unthank, and mother, Edna Scott Unthank. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lucretia Hollaway Unthank; his daughters, Julie Unthank and Jessica Unthank; his brother, John and wife Jackie, and their children Judith and Joshua.

Bill was a member of the Pennington Gap Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 26, 1963 and was a faithful, dedicated Witness for over 60 years. Bill's strong hope is to wake up in the resurrection here on earth under the reign of God's Kingdom by Jesus Christ.

Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew him and we look forward to seeing him healthy once again.
