Betty May Minor Newman, 95, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Saturday, July 6th, 2024. She was born on Sunday, October 28th, 1928 in Lee County, Virginia.

Betty was a dedicated home maker who lovingly cared for her family. She is survived by her sons, Johnny Minor and Billy Lee Minor; her daughter, Brenda Minor; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Minor; her second husband, Joseph Newman; her father, Jake Millsap; and her mother, Sarah Millsap.

Betty will be remembered for her kind heart and her devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will beheld at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Lee Memorial Gardens with Pastor Steve Neff officiating.
