Obituary Bertha Marie (Goodman) Wade age 77 of Keokee, VA was born Monday, February 10, 1941 in St. Charles, VA and passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her church family. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a member of the Keokee Freewill Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Jack Wade, parents Albert and Emma Goodman, two brothers Albert Goodman, Jr. and William Goodman and a great-grandchild Adalee Moore. Bertha is survived by two daughters Tonya Wyres of Coeburn, VA and Amanda Garrett and husband, Jody of Keokee, VA, two sons Charles Wade and wife, Kathy of Appalachia, VA and Duane Wade of Big Stone Gap, VA, seven grandchildren Misty Wyres, Josh Garrett, Jacob Wade, Katie Wyres, Tasha Moore, Angel Wade and Jessica Wilson, nine great-grandchildren, and one sister Julie Collins of McRoberts, KY. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Province Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA with Rev. Phillip Earnis and Lakie Earnis officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM Thursday, until the time of the service. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Woodway, VA.
