Obituary Ben Ed Jones, age 78, of Jonesville, VA was born February 15, 1942 in Bumpass, VA and passed away April 26, 2020 at Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, TN. Ben was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Annie Jones; his baby sister Sally Jones; his grandson Andrew Jacob Colburn; his brother-in law Jesse Surber and Brother-in-law Rick Sturgill; a special friend Karen Black. Ben is survived by his wife of the home Elaine Jones; his daughter Michelle Crumley and husband Randy of Jonesville, VA; his son Michael Jones of Knoxville, TN; his daughter Deanna Moore and husband Jarrod of Knoxville, Tn; Step-sons Jamie Pippin and Jeffery Pippin; grandchildren Lauren Colburn, Lee Colburn, Alyssa Moore, Jake Moore, Anna Moore, Michael Jones, Jason Jones, and Devin Range; his great-grandson Jackson Pippin; his siblings Dr. Thomas Jones and wife Becky, Susie Parks, Rosie Surber, Vivian Hendricks and husband Kurt, John Paul Jones and wife Patti, Doris Jenkins and husband Randy, and Joe Jones; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
